Engineer Volunteer Form

If you are an engineer working in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro area, we need your help to inspire the next generation of engineers. The connect2engineering coalition was formed to help increase the number of students considering engineering careers (especially females and minority students) and to address a looming shortage of engineers throughout the industry. Following interaction with area educators, we determined our focus must target K-12 students, along with their parents and teachers. Our goal is to provide basic engineering information and resources and to ignite excitement about the role engineers play in our world. All engineering fields are encouraged.

Our initial efforts will focus on identifying a network of metro area engineers and their companies to join us in delivering this message. We are seeking engineers willing to help us in this effort. No specific time commitments are required, but rather volunteers can serve as schedules allow and when the need arises.

Please join us in this important effort – to volunteer, please fill out the application below. The data will be stored in the connect2engineering database and used to match you with volunteer opportunities and students.
