The intent of connect2engineering is to be a resource to help spread your message to a wider audience. We are NOT a competitor to your engineering outreach, but rather seek to help promote all these initiatives to reach our collective goals of recruiting more students into the field of engineering.
Engineer Volunteer Application
If you are an engineer working in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro area, we need your help to inspire the next generation of engineers. We're seeking professional engineers, engineering faculty, and current university engineering students to spend some time working with K-12 students to help them learn more about the vast field of engineering. There are numerous ways to volunteer your time with area students and schools. Check out our volunteer application form for possibilities.
Engineering Outreach Events Form
We are seeking engineering outreach events to promote through inclusion on our web site. Our intent is to be a resource to aid in getting your message out to the widest metro audience. There is no cost to include your event information.
Engineering Scholarship Information Form
If you have scholarship information aimed specifically for students interested in pursuing careers in engineering, we encourage you to let us know and we will post them on connect2engineering. There is no cost to include your scholarship information.
Educational Institutions Form
Join our engineering recruiting efforts through connect2engineering. We are currently focusing on the Omaha metro area, but look to expand to other areas soon. In addition to the opportunity to participate in outreach events, your membership will place your school on our website with a link to your website. There is no cost to include your institution's information.
Engineering Organizations Form
Consider supporting our efforts by becoming a connect2engineering member. In addition to the opportunity to participate in outreach events and advertise your existing events, your membership will include your program on our site with a link to your website. There is no cost to include your organization's information.
Print Materials/Downloads
connect2engineering has developed several print materials (brochures and a powerpoint) for volunteers, coalition members, teachers and others to use to provide information about the initiative.
